Pauline Rochas learned to love fragrance from her grandmother, Madame Rochas, matriarch of the famed design house and for whom the label’s iconic first scent, created in 1960, was named. That heritage provided the foundation for Pauline to pursue her own artistic endeavors, first as a still life photographer and now as a perfumer.
“I always knew one day I would create a fragrance,” Rochas says of her company, Coolife. “You could say it was in my DNA.”
